How this concept developed.
'While TVN (aka Taylavision') was in its infancy in Sydney, 'R' rang to ask me if I could draw something he was trying to describe to a business prospect. He told me a creative director of an agency recommended TVN, saying, "If it really is a good idea Greg will deliver an impressive work on time for sure."
Creatives and the business of ingenuity.
Kiwi ingenuity is threaded throughout New Zealand's history with stories that have inspired us to rise to the top with little more than a good idea and the right attitude.
TVN. Inspired by great men I have met.
I used to visit Bruce McLaren's workshop after primary school. He showed me how he produced his ideas from his sketches. I showed him some of mine. Pretty cool when we think about what he has achieved. Us Kiwi kids never shied away from exploring our own ideas. We have impacted the arts, industry, commerce and recreation because we knew how to manage our own ideas almost as soon they occurred to us.
TVN is intuition, ingenuity and collaboration.
Having worked exclusively in the creative industries I recognised there is some anxiety that comes with actioning an idea from its inception. TVN assists creatives with a visual account (envision) of the inherent value in their concepts. This approach to concept development helps to avoid the pitfalls that ruin ideas. Proven in London and Sydney and now here in NZ creatives can identify everything necessary to accomplish their precious concepts.
